Obituary For
Aaron Wayne Davies
Aaron Davies, 24, of Poteau, OK, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016, in Poteau. He was born, July 18, 1991, at Fort Smith, Arkansas to Doyle Wayne Davies and Vicki Gayle (Glenn). He was a politician, a Poteau High School graduate, attended Carl Albert State College and University of Central Oklahoma, a member of the Libertarian Party, ACLU, NRA; Anti-Death Penalty Coalition and a member of Poteau Chamber of Commerce. He was also a supporter of the Leadership Institute and Activist Academy.
Preceding him in death were paternal grandfather Bill Davies; and maternal grandparents Lester and Beth Graham.
Survivors include his father and step-mother Doyle and Shelly Davies of Poteau; mother and step-father Vicki and Johnny Call of Poteau; brother Matthew Davies of Poteau, paternal grandmother Evelyn Davies of Bokoshe, OK; special uncles David Davies and wife Kathy and Michael Glenn of Dallas, TX; cousin Evan Davies and wife Shelby of Poteau; grandparents Gary and Linda Garrison, Shellys parents and Dantia Call, Johnnys mother; step-brother John Call of Alma, AR, step-sisters, Jessica Findley of Muskogee, OK, Kelci Hunzeker of Sullivan, IN and Racheal Hunzeker of Baton Rouge, LA; as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Chase Baldwin, Evan Davies, Benny Gullick, Josh Davies, Andrew Wilson and Bobby Pugh.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2016, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau OK. Interment will follow service at the Old Bokoshe Cemetery, Bokoshe, OK. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau, Ok. Viewing will be Thursday, June 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.You may leave an on-line greeting to the family at www.gracemanorfh.com
