Aaron 'Behr'
Jacob Place
Apr 9, 2006 — Mar 13, 2017
Obit for
Aaron Jacob Behr Place
Behr Place, 10, of Poteau, Oklahoma, passed away March 13, 2017. He was born April 9, 2006, in Fort Smith, AR, to Heath and Rachel (Walker) Place. Behr was a very loving, caring, ornery, cute, free spirited, humble (with the most loveable smile and heart of gold) and care free young man of 10 years of age. Behrs older brother, Austin, and younger sister, Kate (who absolutely adored Behr) provided the typical atmosphere for Behrs middle child issues, but Behr took it in stride and with determination. Behr enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, fishing and hunting. Anyone that knew Behr could never forget him because of his genuine smile and look over his glasses as he raised one eyebrow in a look that shouted Really. If you were Behrs friend, you were truly his friend. Most people, including many in his family, were envious of Behr because of these characteristics, but we can all be like this if we just choose to let the worlds way go by and truly enjoy life like Behr did. Behr accepted Christ as his Savior a couple of months back. The absolute joy and radiance on his face said it ALL.
Behr is survived by his parents Aaron Heath and Rachel Michelle Place, of the home, brother Austin Place of the home, sister Kate Place of the home, maternal grandparents, Linda and Wayne Hoffman, Poteau, OK, and paternal grandparents, Terry and Vicki Place of Howe, OK, most special family by love, Ron and Newana Loomis of Panama, great-grandparents, Ione Place of Poteau and Mary Hoffman of Bokoshe, aunts and uncles, Leah and Stuart Ryan of Tulsa, Kelly and Seth Hildebrant of Jenks, Jeff and Crystal Walker of Cameron, OK, Jason Hoffman of Edmond, OK, Robin and Jason Strickland, Edmond, OK and Terra and John Richmond of Howe, OK, numerous cousins, friends, other family members, and loved ones.
