Funeral Service for Adele Marie Rundles, 75, of Poteau, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Grace Manor Chapel in Poteau, Oklahoma with Brother Dan Lynch officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, OK under the direction of Grace Funeral Service.
Adele was born on April 7, 1948 in Great Bend, Kansas to Esther Rosena (Rankin) Pechanec and William John Pechanec and passed away on February 16, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Adele was married to Donald Ray Rundles on February 8, 1969 in Colorado Springs, CO and they recently celebrated 55 years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter Kara Ashton Rundles.
Family members surviving include her loving husband Don, three sons; John (Greta) Rundles of Northport, AL, James (Janie) Rundles of Hooker, OK, and Mark (Tammi) Rundles of Tuscaloosa, AL, and her sister Carolyn Polis of Pennsylvania. Adele is also survived by five grandchildren: Parker (Gabbie) Rundles, Hooker, OK, Camden Rundles, Hooker, OK, Clark Rundles, Tuscaloosa, AL, Paitlyn Rundles, Hooker, OK and Casey Marie Rundles of Tuscaloosa, AL.
Pallbearers will be John Rundles, James Rundles, Mark Rundles, Parker Rundles, Camden Rundles, Clark Rundles and nephew J. Reese Rundles.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
