Albert Marvin Ulrich
Albert Marvin Ulrich, 87, of Poteau, passed away October 20, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR. He was born December 24, 1924, in Topeka, KS. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a charter pilot and retired salesman from Sears.
He was preceded in death by his birth parents Charles and Junie Guedrey, who passed away before Marvin was 5 years old and also his adopted parents Fred and Lucy Ulrich; his beloved wife Mary Margaret Ulrich; one son James Scott Ulrich; and a sister Charlotte Ramsey.
Marvin is survived by two daughters, Mary Marlene King and Suzanne K. and Dr. Brian Rodgers, all of Poteau; grandchildren; Michelle, Amanda, Devin, Courtney, Christopher, and Casey; four great-grandchildren; and many beloved family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Christopher, Courtney, and Casey Rodgers, Devin King, Gordon Semore, and Kevin Merritt.
Services will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in the Grace Manor Memorial Chapel with Rev. Phil McGehee officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau, OK. The family will visit with friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
