Anicea Renee Gunlock, 41, of Fanshawe, OK, passed from this life to her eternal home in Heaven on Sunday, November 25, 2018, in Pocola, OK. She was born June 17, 1977 in Fort Smith, AR. Anicea graduated from Poteau High School in 1995. She went on to complete her education at Carl Albert State College where she graduated as a Physical Therapy Assistant in 2010. Anicea worked for Stein Ancillary Services LLC & Viacare Therapy Rehabilitation. Anicea was a member of Cross Community Church in Poteau, OK. Anicea was dedicated to her family and loved her children, she excelled at her job, was an amazing therapist and changed the lives of many of her patients. Anicea was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, granddaughter, friend and family member. She was always willing to help anytime she was needed. She always had a smile on her face that lit up the room.
Anicea was preceded in death by her brother Sheldon Sumpter, maternal grandfather Harold Smith, paternal grandfather James Sumpter, and paternal grandmother, Pearl Miller.
Anicea is survived by her parents Genice Smith of Fanshawe, OK, Joe Sumpter of Fanshawe, OK, Wes Thornburg of Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico, one son Tyler Corbit of Fanshawe, OK, Three daughters Victoria Corbit of Fanshawe, OK, Emma Gunlock of Poteau, OK, & Elizabeth Gunlock of Fanshawe, OK, one grandson Carter Taylor of Fanshawe, OK, maternal grandmother Jane Brown (Nana) of Fanshawe, OK, Father of her children Eric Gunlock of Poteau OK and his mother Paula Gunlock of TX, as well as a host of extended family, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Eric Gunlock, Tyler Corbit, Remington McGuire, Randall Smith, Draven Miller-Clark, & Clint Ary.
