August Eugene Stiles
August Eugene Stiles, 89, of Poteau, OK, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018, in Talihina, OK. He was born August 2, 1928 in Shady Point, OK, to William (Bill) and Ida Jane (Woodruff) Stiles. He was a veteran of The United States Army.
August was preceded in death by his parents, a son Marvin E. Stiles, a sister Marie Kerna, and a brother Percy Stiles.
August is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Phillip and Sissy Stiles of Rock Springs, WY, daughters and sons-in law Lorena and James Goude of Poteau, OK, Eugenia and Terry Rodebush of McAlester, OK, Deanna and Emory Dilbeck of McAlester, OK, and Ida Stiles of Tulsa, OK, ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, brothers Robert and Kenneth Stiles of Stigler, OK, sister Norma Ferrero of Rock Springs, WY, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
