Barbara Ann (Hamilton) Gillion
Barbara Gillion, 69, of Spiro, OK, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born October 8, 1943, at Fort Smith, AR, to Harold and Dorothy (Bodine) Hamilton. She was a bookkeeper working at Robert S. Kerr Lock and Dam, Spiro Builders, Inc. and C.A.R. Transport in Burleson, TX. Barbara was a true blue Dallas Cowboy fan, she loved the OU Sooners and she was the first and only Miss Spiro.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Gene Hamilton.
Barbara is survived by a son Michael Gillion and wife Vickie of Spiro, OK; a daughter Donna Miller and husband Francisco Paco of Broken Arrow, OK; five grandchildren, Zachary Allen and wife Kristen of Alma, AR, Haley Allen of Broken Arrow, OK, Clay Gillion of Fort Smith, AR, Mason Gillion of Spiro, OK and Samantha Gillion of Spiro, OK; a great grandchild Abram Allen of Alma, AR; the father of her children Sam Gillion of Spiro, OK; as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
