Graveside services for Warren Currens, 72 of Shady Point, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau, Oklahoma. Viewing will be 9am-7pm Friday.
Barney Warren Currens was born on January 17, 1952 in Panama, Oklahoma to Wynoma Lucille (Tanksley) and Dan Warren Currens and passed away on June 14, 2024 in Shady Point, Oklahoma. He was married to Hongli Currens on March 11, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is preceded in death by his father, Dan.
Warren loved to talk to people and "wheel and deal" selling things. He was the owner/operator of Currens Enterprise Importer-Wholesaler of General Merchandise.
Warren was survived by his mother, Lucille Currens; his wife, Hongli Currens; and his stepdaughter, Xiaolin "Kathy" Huang.
