Bettye Louise Walker, 74, of Heavener, OK, passed away January 10, 2011, in Poteau. She was born March 20, 1936, in Russellville, AR, to William Arlington and Ethel Mae (White) Walker. She was a retired seamstress.
Bettye was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, William (Bill) Walker, T.J. Walker and Russell Walker.
She is survived by a brother Donald Walker of San Diego, CA; a nephew Russell Walker of OKC, OK; a sister-in-law Sylvia Walker of Stapp Zoe, OK and niece Misty Dawn Walker of Page, OK; as well as numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.
The family will hold a memorial service and dinner at 5:00 p.m. on January 17, 2011, at the Stapp-Zoe Community Center. Cremation under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, Oklahoma.
