Funeral Service for Beverly Ruth Archey, 84 of Shady Point, Oklahoma will be at 10::00am on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Calvary Assembly in Poteau, Oklahoma with Reverend Tim Painter and Mister Jim Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Knothole Cemetery in Cameron, Oklahoma under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Beverly Ruth Archey 84, of Shady Point, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on March 7, 2023 in her home. She was born to Dewey Ray and Ruth W. (Miller) Fullen of Summerfield, Ok.
Beverly was a homemaker, she enjoyed doing for her family, friends, and her church. She loved to sew and make quilts, giving them to family and friends, she loved to cook and bake, she will be remembered for her cakes, tassies, and peanut brittle. Beverly was always encouraging you to eat, one of her true blessings was no one left her home hungry.
She was involved in her church" The Assembly of God" at Shady Point, Oklahoma for many years, her faith and Love of God was her true foundation for herself, her family and her way of Life. She was loved and known by all that knew her as Nanny
She is preceded by her husband Jiggs Archey of 44 years, son Shannon Archey of Howe, OK. A daughter, Chire A. Archey of Shady Point, OK., One sister, Jo Martin and husband Troy Martin, Ft Smith, Arkansas, 2 brothers, Ron Fullen of Panama, OK., and Jack Fullen of Poteau, Ok.
Beverly is survived by her 2 daughters, Rhonda Barnett and husband Michael, of Bristow, Ok, Charlotte Perkins and husband Richie of Shady Point, Ok. 2 sons, Rusty Archey and wife Darla of Reno Nevada, Quint Archey of Greenwood, Arkansas, and brother Larry Fullen and wife Annie of Pocola, Ok. Beverly was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
She has a place in Heaven but she will be Forever In Our Hearts!!
Pallbearers will be Sayer Smith, Lance Archey, Hunter Frazier, Blake Akins, Chase Akins, and Hunter Perkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dusty Lovett, Clint Lawrence, Ryan Cannon, Tracey Fullen, and Russell Archey. There will be no viewing but everyone is welcome to come to the funeral home and sign the quest book on Friday, March 10th, from 9am-7pm.
