Billy Dean Earls, 77, of Poteau, OK, passed away October 6, 2014, in Poteau, OK. He was born March 28, 1937, in Heavener, OK, to Lester and Betty Jo (Berry) Earls. He was a barber.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents; a son Brian Earls; brother Lee Earls; and sister Helen Earls.
He is survived by his wife Eunice Earls of the home; a son Doug Earls of Poteau, OK; special nephew Terry Earls; four sisters, Delene Drury of Poteau, Carolyn Cagle and husband Bob of Howe, OK, Patsy Walker of Cameron, OK and Linda Mattox of Howe, OK; special companion Rosko his dog; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many more family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Tony Drury, Doug Earls, Terry Earls, Jesse Mattox, Eddy Drury and Dusty Mattox.
Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at the First Assembly of God Church in Shady Point, OK, with Pastor Joe Owen officiating. Interment will follow service at the Vaughn Cemetery, Gilmore, OK. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
