Bobby Eugene Bane, Sr. of Roland, Oklahoma was born on April 23, 1930 in Pontiac, Michigan to Arthur R. Bane and Ruby (King) Henry and passed away February 24, 2025 in Roland, Oklahoma at the age of 94.

He is survived by:

His wife of almost 63 years: Janie Bane

Two daughters: Ruth Hazel Bailey and Tiffany Marie Shearburn

Two sons: Bobby Eugene Bane, Jr. and Derek Lee Bane

18 grandchildren

17 great-grandchildren

Numerous other loved ones and a multitude of friends

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Bane and Ruby Henry; and a daughter, Nora Jane (Bane) Montgomery.

Bobby was a longtime resident of the area. He worked over 50 years as a body and fender man in Auto Repair. Bobby enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a veteran where he served his country in the United States Air Force. Bobby will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved him.

Services will be scheduled at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Cremation Center of Poteau, Oklahoma.
