Brenda Ann Sweeten, 69, of Cameron, OK, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born March 31, 1951, in Heavener, Oklahoma to Claud and Imogene (Owens) Welch. She worked at Kibois as a Headstart Teacher. Brenda was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Claud and Imogene Welch, husband; Jackie Sweeten, granddaughter Taiya ONeal, and great grandson Pepper McGee.
Survivors include, a son; Kendall ONeal of Cameron, Oklahoma, two daughters; Larinda Sweeten of Cameron, Oklahoma, Kenda and husband Marcus McGee of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Carson Jack, Radley Gene and Hollan Claud ONeal and Aaron and Isaiah Lawson, sisters; Shirley Ward, Edith Ward, Claudette Hamner, as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be; Richard Johnson, Tim Cannon, Keith ONeal, Jason Herell, James Cantwell, Donald Sweeten, and Aaron Branscum.
Services will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church in Cameron, Oklahoma. Interment will follow service at Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, Oklahoma with Dr. Brian Sheppard officiating. Viewing will be Monday, August 3, 2020 from 9:00 am- 7:00 pm with family greeting friends from 5:00pm 7:00pm. Services are under the direction of Grace Funeral Service in Poteau, Oklahoma
