Burlen Glenn, 65, of Bache, OK, passed away December 5, 2010, at his home. He was born October 23, 1945, at Walls Community near Red Oak, OK, to Burl and Estelle (Mize) Glenn. He was a farmer and retired Latimer County Sheriff as well as a member of Bache Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Mark Glenn and one sister Peggy Sue Glenn.
Burlen is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Cliff Morgan of Wister; one brother, Leon Glenn of Poteau; two sisters, Shirley McBee and Virginia Mahan-Gore and husband Chuck, all of Hartshorne, OK; five grandchildren, Craig, Clayton and Shaylee Morgan of Wister, OK and Norman and Ethan Glenn of Louisville, KY; as well as numerous other family, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Bud Morgan, Danny Shadwick, Chuck Gore, Rick Meeks, Bob Kuykendall and Steven Gerryberry.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at Ellis Chapel Church, Wister, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Ellis Chapel Cemetery immediately following the service.
