Charles A. Cross, 78, of Poteau, Oklahoma passed away Friday, August 7, 2020, in Poteau, Oklahoma. He was born June 21, 1942 in Mecca, California to Charles and Willie Mae (Willis) Cross. He worked as a Mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Neita Cross, two sisters Millie Goldring and Carol Ann Lee and two brothers Jim Cross and Ronnie Cross.
Survivors include his son, Brian and Kellie Cross of Poteau, Oklahoma, a daughter Katherine Persinger of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two sisters, Lydia Erickson and Judy Crews, one brother, Jack Cross, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at Vaughn Cemetery in Gilmore, Oklahoma, with Reverend LeRoy Billy officiating. Viewing will be Tuesday 9:30 am 7:00 pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau, Oklahoma.
