Charles Sonny Farrar
Charles Sonny Farrar, 73, of Cameron, OK, passed away November 8, 2014, in Fayetteville, AR. He was born March 7, 1941, in Cameron, OK, to Owen and Mary Mooneyham Farrar. He was retired from Johnson Controls, Inc. and also worked at Poorboy Livestock Auction.
Sonny is preceded in death by his father Owen Farrar.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ruth Farrar of the home; two daughters Connie Jane Horton and Angie Carter and husband Mike all of Cameron, OK; his mother Mary Elizabeth Farrar of Cameron, OK; a sister Ann Crosgrove of Seminole, OK; four grandchildren Zachary Clain and wife Grace, Ryan Carter, Bria Horton and Lexi Carter; one great granddaughter Ember Mitchell; as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Farrar, Paul Duboise, Jerry Dunning, Jim Evans, John Woods Jr., Tim Cannon, Jessie Gibson and Billy Cook.
Service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, at the Cameron School Gymnasium, Cameron, OK, with Pastor Travis Cook and Rev. Charles Caughern officiating. Interment will follow service at the Liberty Hill Cemetery, Cameron, OK. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau. The family will greet friends Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
