Charles Lafayette Hunget, 80, of Poteau, Oklahoma, passed away July 2, 2011, in Poteau. He was born September 4, 1930, in Grover, CO, to John Rufus and Gladys Emma (Moore) Hunget. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 57 years Donna Lee (Clark) Hunget, a daughter Sharon, two brothers Robert Hunget and John Hunget, and a sister Julie Moore.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles and Donna Hunget of Poteau, and Jerry Hunget of Ann Arbor, MI; five grandchildren, Kelly Hunget, Dawn Houck, Rebecca Wallin and Jerry and Robert Hunget; six great-grandchildren, Caitlin and Jocob Houck, Caleb Hunget, William Wallin, Bethany Bohr and Caylee Hunget; four sisters, Betty Bowman, Karen Vanetta and Sandra Nix all of MI and Shirley Worster of NC; a brother Gerald Hunget of MI; as well as numerous other family, friends and loved ones.
Cremation services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, OK. Interment will follow at a later date.
