Charles Ray Tackett
Charles Ray Tackett, 61, of Bokoshe, OK, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in Bokoshe. He was born October 15, 1956 in Poteau, OK, to Billy Ray and Sharon Faith (Barkley) Tackett. He was an oil field consultant.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Billy David Tackett, father and mother-in-law Junun and Ruth Thompson.
Survivors include his wife Lisa (Thompson) Tackett of the home, three daughters, Jackie Gentry and husband Jason, Amy Tackett and Heath Herd and Bethany Tackett all of Bokoshe, grandchildren, Sarah Gentry, Kaity Rae Beathard,and Gracie Herd, brothers Steve Tackett and wife Cindy of Milton, OK, Mark Hatcher and wife Ranata of Bokoshe, OK, his other brother Steve Hendrix and wife Jeanne of Milton, OK, sisters, Paula Darneal and husband Randy of Panama, OK, Sharon Kay Tackett and Keith Beathard of Longtown, OK, Patricia Price and husband Dennis of Milton, OK, stepmother Anna Tackett of Milton, OK, as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Steve Hendrix, Harold Crase, Tim Lovell, Tom Watson, A.J. Walters, and Jeremy Kingsborough.
Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at the First Baptist Church, Bokoshe, OK, with Bro. Jerry Turner, Bro. Harold McConnell and Bro. Jim Smith officiating. Interment will follow service at Nubbin Ridge Cemetery, Bokoshe, OK. Visitation will be Monday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and the family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, OK.
