Charles A. Potter, Sr.
Charley Potter, 71, of Poteau, OK, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013, in Poteau. He was born September 16, 1941, at Cameron, OK, to W.A. Bill and Stellie Mae (Smith) Potter. He was a self-employed carpenter and owner of Charleys Construction.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers,; and sisters,
Charley is survived by his wife of twenty eight years, Esther (Moody) Potter of the home; children, Charley Potter, Jr. and wife Brandy of Hackett, AR, Shirri VanVranken of Howe, OK, Shelly and husband Jerry Athey of Stigler, OK, LeAnn and husband Monty Medlock of Bonanza, AR, Angie and husband John Adams of Poteau, OK, Jackie and husband Will Boogie Lindsey of Liberty, OK, Norman and wife Michelle Noah of Williston, ND, Dean Noah of Poteau, OK, Bill and wife Laura Holson of Heavener, OK; a brother Olen Potter of McAlester, OK; twenty two grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Will Boogie Lindsey, grandsons Dylan Potter, Jody Lindsey, Aaron Lindsey, Paul Perry, Dustin Duck Perry. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Adams and Dale McAlester.

Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 4, 2013, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau, OK, with Bro. Harold Thompson officiating. Interment will follow service at Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau, OK.
