Charlotte Elmore of Shady Point, Oklahoma was born August 26, 1944 in Charleston, Arkansas to James Alvin and Emmaline (Goldsmith) Polk and passed away May 29, 2020 in Shady Point, Oklahoma at the age of 75.
She is survived by her husband; Gene Elmore, one daughter; Sherri Blaylock and husband Thomas, two sons; Benton Elmore and Cassie, Clinton Elmore and wife Jennifer, one sister; Jeannie Hutchins, mother-in-law Mary Elmore, nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; James Alvin and Emmaline Polk, her great granddaughter; Annabelle Elmore, brother; J.C. Polk, sister; Lorene Salakar, and one niece; Vicky Lane. She loved her family and friends and she was loved by everyone that knew her.
Funeral services will be held 10am Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the Grace Memorial Chapel with Reverend Vernon Stone officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Grace Funeral services. Viewing will be Monday from 12pm - 7pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons.
