Chieko Pierce
Chieko Pierce, 57, of Cameron, OK, passed away, May 18, 2013, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born Jan. 30, 1956, in Urasoe, Okinawa, Japan, to Shoei and Yae Okuma. She was a homemaker.
Chieko is survived by her husband Ray Pierce of the home; a son Daniel Ray Pierce of Norman, OK; a daughter I Lena Holloway of Fort Smith, AR; two grandchildren, Kaetyn Drury and Armani Drury, both of Fort Smith, AR; her parents Shoei and Yae Okuma; a brother Kazahiko and wife Mitsue Okuma, their children Tomohito, Kohei, and Karen; three sisters, Michiko and her husband Shoekichi Nakamura, their children Ikuko, Atuushi, Satako and Motoko; Kyoko and and her husband Takao Higa, their children Iayano, Kazuki, and Miyuki; Etsuko and her husband Yoshiki Nakasone, their children Maimi, Kae and Ko; and a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at the Calvary Assembly of God Church, Poteau, OK, with Bro. Scott Martin officiating. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau. You may leave an on-line greeting to the family at www.gracemanorfh.com
