Clarence Sonny Walter Fair, 78 of Panama, OK went to be with his Lord and his beloved wife Emma Sue on July 13, 2013, in Poteau. He was born in Panama, OK on November 2, 1934 to Bonnie and Buford Fair. He retired from Riverside Furniture and was on the town council of Panama.
He is preceded in death by his parents, loving wife of 59 years, Emma Sue, sister Christine Hastings, and niece Jennifer Currens.
Sonny leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughter Susan Hernandez and husband Ali of Wister, OK ; sister Brenda Currens and husband Delbert of Panama, OK; brother James Fair and wife Margaret of Eldon, MO; four granddaughters, Jennifer Gould and husband Randall of Spiro, OK, Kristina Sulivant and husband Heith of the home, Ashley McCoy of Poteau and Kaitlin Loomis of Wister, OK; sister in law Sharon Ford and husband Barry of Nashville, TN; brother in law Jack Shamblin and wife Kay of Sallisaw, OK and numerous relatives, loved ones and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ali Hernandez, Randall Gould, Heith Sulivant, Delbert Currens, David Currens, Douglas Clark and Kevin Yarbrough.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 16th, at Solid Rock Pentecostal Church of God in Panama with Rev. Tim Painter Officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Panama, OK. Family will greet friends from 5-7 Monday at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
