Dene Adam Birchfield of Spiro, Oklahoma was born December 18, 1978 in Vancouver, Washington to Harman Dean and Nancy Jane (Swindell) Birchfield and passed away on July 19, 2026 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 47.

Dene is survived by:

His wife:  Tabitha Birchfield

Two daughters:  Harmony Birchfield and Abigail Birchfield

One step-daughter:  Brittany Payton

Two sons:  Jason Birchfield and Zachary Birchfield

One brother:  David Birchfield

Two grandchildren

Numerous other loved ones and a host of friends

Dene was preceded in death by his parents, Harman and Nancy Birchfield.

Dene was a longtime resident of the Spiro area and was a mechanic. He had a good heart and would help anyone. He valued time spent with family and friends. Dene will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
