Don Ed Self, 71, of Poteau, OK, passed away June 20, 2011, in Poteau. He was born October 10, 1939, in Poteau, OK, to R.L. and Wilma (Barnes) Self. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and worked thirty five years in the Engineering Dept. of Johnson Controls.
He was preceded in death by his father R.L. Self, mother Wilma Brown and step-father Harold Brown.
Don Ed is survived by an aunt, Polly Harper of Poteau, OK; two cousins, Barbara Van Cleave of Ft. Smith and Gary Don and wife Linda Vest of Cameron, OK; as well as numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.
