Donald Steve Burrows, 71, of LeFlore, OK, passed away July 25, 2015 at his property in LeFlore. He was born March 25, 1944, in Tipton, OK to Carl and Wanna Burrows and survived by his wife Bonnie Burrows and daughter Stephanie Burrows. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a retired lineman for AT&T, and an entrepreneur who owned several businesses in Poteau, OK. He remained an active church member - he and his wife spent many years writing and illustrating biblically based childrens books for their church. He had remarkably built a home with his wife and neighbor during the last year of his life after their first home burned down. He had a passion for natural health, as well as raising goats and other animals on the property. His sense of humor and strength of character will be missed by family and friends alike.
A small ceremony will be held at his gravesite on his property in Leflore, OK, on October 20, 2015 at 2:00pm. His church minister will preside.
