Donna Joan Unruh, 67, of Poteau, OK, passed away May 26, 2010, in Poteau, OK. She was born June 9, 1942 in Dodge City, KS, to Harvey L. and Hazel Mae (Ott) Skidmore. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She had many achievements; she was a wonderful cook, excelled in arts and crafts and was an excellent carpenter.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Jane Swaffar.
She is survived by two sons, Art and wife Kendra Smith of Conifer, Co, and Darrin and wife Lori Fox of Poteau, OK; a daughter Ranee and husband Tim Gokie of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren, Timmy and Joey Gokie, Mandy and Justin Smith, and Ella and Dylan Fox; two brothers Lee R. Skidmore of Dothan, AL and Gary Skidmore of Montezuma, KS; three sisters, Doris Price of Hutchinson, KS, Janet McLaughlin of Dexter, KS and Jackie Boyd of Montezuma, KS; in addition to her loving family, she leaves behind her beloved puppies, Pipi, Toots, Bitticus and Linsu; as well as a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
