Obituary for
Dorothy Louise Hartley

Dorothy Hartley, 87, of Bokoshe, OK, passed away June 7, 2014, in Spiro. She was born January 2, 1927 in Oklahoma, to B.O. and Alice (Robertson) Jones. She was a homemaker and retired cosmetology instructor for a beauty college. Dorothy was a lifetime member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary; VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Rebecca Lodge.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Bill Hartley and son Robert Hartley.

Dorothy is survived by two sons, Tom and wife Carol Hartley of Panama, OK and Richard and wife Brenda Hartley of Spiro, OK; a daughter Belinda and husband Thomas Burns of Ft. Smith, AR; two brothers, John Jones of Poteau and Harold Jones of Ft. Defiance, AZ; a sister Velma Ferguson of Kansas; eleven grandchildren and thirty six great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many more family members, friends and loved ones.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Old Bokoshe Cemetery, Bokoshe, OK, with Pastor Wesley LeFlore officiating.
