Dorsey Wayne Henson
Dorsey Henson, 75, Cameron, OK, passed away June 5, 2014, in Poteau, OK. He was born December 26, 1938, at Spring Creek, OK, to Oscar and Norma (Richardson) Henson. He was a faithful Jehovahs Witness since September 1961.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife Laverne Henson; two sisters Velma Evans and Iva Dell Owens; two brothers Johnny and Billy Henson.
Dorsey is survived by four brothers, Oscar Henson and wife June of Sanford, TX; Leslie Henson and wife Lou of La Rassell, MO; George Henson of Prairie Grove, AR; Roger Henson of Sarcoxie, MO; three sisters, Carolyn Bradley of Ontario, CA; Darlene McCleland and husband James of Prairie Grove, AR; Sharon Gilmore and husband Robert of Winslow, AR; sister-in-law Norma Evans of Poteau, OK; a brotherin-law James R. Moore of Cameron, OK; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Anaya, Chuck Cloud, Keelan Cloud, Ellery Lonto and Gary Lonto and Duane Weldon.
Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 9, 2014, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau, OK, with Bro. Peter Philippi officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK. Family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday evening at the funeral home.
