Eastel James
Eastel Loretta James, 78, of Panama, OK, passed away July 23, 2016, in Panama. She was born April 25, 1938 in Calhoun, OK to Zemon and Maggie (Russell) Copeland. She was a cook at Panama Schools and a member of the Panama Assembly of God Church.
Eastel was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 51 years Allan James, a son Randal James, five brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by a daughter Trena Garcia of Texas, two sons Dennis James of Poteau, OK and E. Deyon James of Florida, nine grandchildren, grandson Craig and wife Kim Jackson and their children Ace, Bentley and Raelynn Jackson all of the home, numerous great grandchildren , as well as a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, at Dog Creek Cemetery, Calhoun, OK, with Rev. Tim Painter officiating. Arrangements under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, OK. You may leave an on-line greeting to the family at www.gracemanorfh.com
