Elisha Choate
As the sun was rising on Oct. 11th, 2013, Elisha Choate, 15, of Panama, OK, a precious angel departed this world into the bosom of Abraham, another name for paradise. He was born January 6, 1998, in Poteau, OK. He was a 10th grade student at Panama High School. Elisha enjoyed family, singing, drawing, cooking and being on his iPad. While on earth the Lord used him an earthen vessel to spread the love of God thru out his community.

Elisha was preceded in death by his grandfathers Hayden Byrd and Earl Choate.
Elisha is survived by his mother Karen Perry of the home; three brothers Adam Smith of Panama, Stephen Perry of Indian Head, MD. and Dawson Choate of the home; grandmothers Linda Byrd of Poteau and Mary Jane Choate of Houston, TX; aunts and uncle LaBamba Smith of Panama, Patty Smith of Shady Point, Nova and husband Tim Chronister of Van Buren, AR., Pamela Byrd Feemster of Poteau; Donnie Byrd of Ardmore, OK; as well as a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Adam Smith, Stephen Perry, Dawson Choate, Justin Burks, Justus Creel and Rick Fowler
Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Panama High School Gymnasium in Panama, OK, with Pastor Jim Dewbre officiating.
