Emma Mortenson, 6, of Panama, OK, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015, in Little Rock, AR. She was born Oct. 14, 2008, at Talihina, OK, to Edward Mortenson and Michelle (Conley) Lamar.
Emma is survived by her father Edward Mortenson and Katherine Mankins of Panama, OK; by her mother Michelle and Marshall Lamar of Fort Smith, AR; brother Chase Gwin of LeFlore, OK; eight sisters, Breana Clement and husband Ricky, Brandi ONeal and husband Ryne of Summerfield, OK, Kayla Truelove and Hunter Mortenson of Hackett, OK, Shasta Mortenson of Kingfisher, OK, Kourtney Mortenson of Panama, OK, Allison Lamar and Mai Lamar both of Fort Smith, AR; grandparents Frank and Denise Holson of Panama; aunt Debra Holson of Panama; as well as a host of aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and other family members and a host of friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Clement, Ryne ONeal, Josh Moss and Jackie Green. Honorary pallbearer will be Travis Clem.
Service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015, at First Assembly of God Church, Panama, OK, with Pastor James Johnson officiating. Interment will follow service at Fairview Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Viewing will begin Thursday, noon to 8:00 p.m. Friday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The family request in lieu of flowers a donation be made to Miracles For Emma Dawn, a Go Fund Me account set up by Mark Allen Mortenson on Facebook.
