Obituary of: Euel F. Bethell
Euel F. Bethell, 86, of Holson Valley, passed away September 19, 2013, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born Feb. 15, 1927, in Knothole community near Cameron, OK, to Gladys (Hardin) and James Dewey Hensley. She was a twin and the oldest of eleven children. She was a homemaker and never allowed anyone to leave her home without sending something with them. She loved to go fishing and camping with her husband and family; always worked beside her husband on the farm, at the sawmill and anywhere else she was needed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband Noel Bethell; a twin sister Jewel Holt; and a great granddaughter Gracey Fischer.
Euel is survived by two sons, Edwin and wife Dorean Bethell, James and wife Tammi Bethell, all of Holson Valley; three daughters, Faye Baker, Ruth and husband Clyde Kinsworthy, all of Holson Valley, and Alice and husband Harvey Mattox of Shady Point, OK; four brothers, Jerry Hensley, Bob Hensley, Eugene Hensley and Clyde Hensley; five sisters, Molly Pickering, Erma Dean Karther, Betty Hensley, Jo Welch and Doneva Fout; thirteen grandchildren, Keith, Kristina, Charlie, Casey, Mark, Lisa, Jennifer, Melissa, Brent, Dustin, Shelly, Amy, and Timothy; thirty six great grandchildren and one great-great grandson; brother-in-law Arthur and Helen Bethell, sisters in law Mildred Hamby and Dorothy Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Kinsworthy, Casey Bethell, Deon Roberts, Mark Baker, Nathan Russell,
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21, at Talihina Church of Christ, Talihina, OK, with Preacher Phillip Smith officiating. Viewing will be Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
