Evelyn Frances Franklin of Spiro, Oklahoma was born January 10, 1933 in Center Point, Texas to Lawrence William and Emma Frances (Starnes) MacFall and passed away March 4, 2025 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 92.

She is survived by:

Jessica Pettis and husband Doyle of Spiro, Oklahoma

Numerous other relatives and a host of friends

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Lonnie Franklin; and one brother, Wayne MacFall.

Evelyn was a longtime resident of the area, a retired bookkeeper for Northwood University, and a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. She thoroughly enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, playing games on the computer. Evelyn loved spending time with her family and friends.

There will be a Private Immediate Family Only Memorial Service at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Cremation Center of Poteau, Oklahoma.
