Evelyn Sue Gerhardson, 71, of Heavener, OK, passed away Friday, November 19, 2010, in Fort Smith, AR.She was born July 3, 1939, in Norman, Arkansas, to James W. (Bill) and Mary Ellen (Newland) Smith. Evelyn Sue Smith married Harris Clayton Gerhardson on June 9, 1956, at Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She was a graduate of Siloam Springs High School, a member of the Heavener First Baptist Church and a loving wife and mother to her family. Sue was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Kimberly Sue Gerhardson. She is survived by her husband Harris, a daughter Ashley Nicole Gerhardson and son-in-law Luke Crouch of Poteau, OK; a brother James W. Smith, Jr. and wife Raelynn of Siloam Springs, AR; as well as a host of other family, friends and loved ones. The family will greet friends from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
