Floyd C. Hardwick
Floyd C. Hardwick, 85, of Shady Point, OK, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016, in Fort Smith, AR. He was born January 31, 1931, at Burns City, IN, to Roy Calvin and Estella (Burress) Hardwick. He was a retired machinist for Ford Motor Company and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife Marilyn Joyce Hardwick of the home; three sons, Jeff and wife Charmaine Hardwick of Dallas, TX, David and wife Lynnet Hardwick of Van Buren, AR and James and wife Tresa Hardwick of Bridge City, TX; seven grandchildren, Josh, Jeremy, Jared, Caleb and Connor Hardwick, Claire Perkins and Jacie Hardwick; five great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Josh Hardwick, Jeremy Hardwick, Jared Hardwick, Caleb Hardwick, Connor Hardwick and grandson-in-law Chris Perkins.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel with Pastor Don Cherry and Pastor Jim Hardwick officiating. Interment will follow the service at 2:00 p.m. at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, Fort Smith, AR. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau, OK. Viewing will be Wednesday, May 4, from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.You may leave an on-line greeting to the family at www.gracemanorfh.com
