Floyd B. Mortenson of Howe Oklahoma was born September 1, 1936 in Detroit Springs, Minnesota to Andrew and Ruth (Day) Mortenson, and passed away August 19, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 82.
He is survived by five daughters; Linda Villareal of Defuniak Springs, Florida, Cathy Gerdes of Howe, Oklahoma, Barbara Roberts of Howe, Oklahoma, Tammy Goss of Los Angeles, California, Debbie Flagg of Howe, Oklahoma, one son; Leslie Mortenson of Tennessee, three brothers; Bruce Mortenson of Minnesota, Roy Mortenson of Minnesota, Les Mortenson of Washington, fifteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and loved ones.
Floyd was preceded in death by his wife; Lora Mortenson, parents; Andrew and Ruth Mortenson, two brothers; Ronald and Allan, four sisters; Merle, Audrey, Vada, Helen, and one great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Marie Gerdes.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Grace Funeral Service in Poteau, Oklahoma.
