Floyd Rice, Jr of Poteau, Oklahoma was born March 9, 1942 in Stoney Point, Oklahoma to Floyd and Edith (Lloyd) Rice, and passed away February 24, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 77.
He is survived by two daughters, Rhonda McConnell and Bo Johnson and husband Russ, one sister, Betty Ralls, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Edith Rice and his sister Donna Rice.
Floyd was a United States Army Veteran and was always happy to see Ashley McConnell during her visits with him at the nursing home.
Memorial Services will be 3pm Saturday, February 29, 2020, at the Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma.
