Fonda Shon Mitchell
Shon Mitchell, 57, of Wister, OK, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 in Fayetteville, AR. She was born March 2, 1959 at Poteau, OK, to William Douglas and Ramona LaNell (Lee) Mitchell. She was a homemaker. Shon was a graduate of Wister High School, attended OSU where she achieved a doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved to care for her family, her friends and she had a very soft heart for animals. Shon attended several churches and was faithful to her Lord and Savior.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Sherry Ann Brown.
Survivors include her daughter Phoenix Ted and husband Brock Wheeler of Poteau, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennie and wife Rose Brown, Donald Duck and wife Jamie Brown and Bobby and wife Lora Brown all of Tahlequah, two grandchildren Brodin and Bentley Wheeler of Poteau, as well as numerous nieces and nephews a host of other family members, friends, and loved ones.
