Frances Jociel Buttress,79, Spiro, OK passed away, May 26, 2010, in Spiro. She was born August 12, 1930, at Tahona, Ok, to John S. Dailey and Ida Mae (Herbert) Dailey. She was raised by her grandmother, Lucy White. Jociel loved yard work and was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son Pete Buttress; one daughter Sandra Jean Buttress and one brother, John A. Dailey.
She is survived by her husband Bill Buttress of the home; one son, Billy and Kathy Buttress of Spiro OK; two daughters, Peggy Logan and husband Jerry of Keota, OK, Frances Davison of Spiro, OK; three sisters Barbara Millington, Bernice Herbert both of Spiro, OK, and Dorothy Dailey of Spavinaw, OK; numerous grandchildren; as well as a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, 2010, at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, OK, with Brother Curtis Pete Butler officiating. Interment will follow service at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, OK. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Spiro. Viewing will be 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM Thursday and family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
