Freda F. Wood, 63, of Poteau, OK, passed away January 26, 2011, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born September 4, 1947, in, Poteau, OK, to Roy Sr. and Martha Ann (Barnes) Gullick. She was a homemaker and a member of The Family Worship Center, Heavener, OK.

Freda was preceded in death by her parents, a son Johnny Akins, two brothers, James Gullick and Roy Gullick Jr., four sisters, Anna Payne, Mary Heavener, Suzie Pennington and her twin Rita Stine.
She is survived by two sons, Warren Lee Buckner and Michael Wood both of Tulsa, OK; a daughter Melissa Gregory of Cameron, OK; two brothers, Benny Gullick of Poteau and Larry Gullick of Wister; nine grandchildren; as well as numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau, OK, with Pastor Don Benefield officiating. Interment will follow service at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK. Family will greet friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, Oklahoma.
