Graveside Service for Gary Moody, 55 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 10:00am, on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery in Panama, Oklahoma with Reverend Eddie Blankenship officiating. Services are under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau, Oklahoma. Viewing and visitation will be from 9am -7pm Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Greg Duncan, Kyle Hargis, Jackie Lewis, Billy Permenter, Dwight Carey, and Clark Bruner.
Gary was born on October 17, 1968 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Betty (Skelton) Moody and George Moody, Jr. and passed away on June 4, 2024 in Barling, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Billy Moody. Gary worked numerous jobs including LeFlore County District 1. He was a member of the Spiro First Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and attending church. Gary loved his family dearly.
Survivors include his brothers, Wayne Moody and wife Rhonda, David Moody and wife Bonnie, Allen Moody and wife Melissa; sisters, Kathy Taylor, Gail Brown; nieces and nephews, Sherian Lewis, Kayla Green, Kyle Hargis, Danialle Holly, Mandi Yandell, Kirea Bangs, Robert Scott, Wesley Taylor, Randi Taylor, numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
