Geraldine M. Thompson entered the world on February 16, 1929 in Cameron, OK; the daughter of Jesse Green Thompson and Dessie Erma Willow Lee Goforth. During her 83 years of life, Geraldine most cherished the times spent with her family and loved ones. On July 31, 2012, she joined many of her loved ones in Heaven; her son, Michael Ray Davidson; brothers, J.D. Thompson and Bobby Clinton Thompson; sisters, Lorene Dorothy McGertt and Leta Faye McMullin; and her parents Jess and Dess. Geraldines legacy will live on through the stories and memories shared by her sons, Jerry Edwin Henry and Ron Gene Sloan, sister, Deanna Sue Monks, her 10 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 am Friday, August 3, 2012 at the LDS Chapel, 625 Coggins Road, Poteau, OK. A brief viewing will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Spiro City Cemetery. Services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home Poteau.
Family and friends will meet at Grace Manor Funeral Home Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 6-8 pm to reminisce.
