Memorial Service for Glenda Kay James, 62 of Cameron, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Cross Community Church in Pocola, Oklahoma with Reverend Matt Duke, officiating. Services are under the direction of Grace Funeral Service.
She was born on September 27, 1959 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Billie Lea (Jones) Sweeten and Roy Earl Sweeten and passed away on May 5, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul James, parents Roy and Billie Sweeten, nephew Brandon Sweeten and mother-in-law Eva James. After graduating high school she worked for Ayers Furniture. She was a cook and driver for KI Bois Headstart. She organized benefit dinners for families with medical issues. Glenda had many friends that she talked to several times daily. She loved the Lord and everyone's babies.
Survivors include: her daughter, Shelby James and Chad Henry of Greenwood, Arkansas; a sister Sherry and Gene James of Poteau, Oklahoma; brothers, Randy and Bonnie Sweeten of Cameron, Oklahoma and Shawn and Tamara Sweeten of Cameron, Oklahoma; a grandson Grant Henry of Greenwood, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
