Gloria Jane Bass
Jane Bass, 68, of Poteau, OK, was called Home on September 4, 2016. She was born September 16, 1947, at Temple, TX, to James Ira and Myrtle (Henderson) Gotcher. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her loving husband of forty-nine years, Gary Bass of the home, three daughters Angie Burgess and husband Bert of Bokoshe, OK, Sue Ann Bright of Springdale, AR and Amy Stafford and husband Richard of Poteau, OK, eight grandchildren, Colby, Caleb, Caitlin, Conner, LeighAnn, Jacklyn, Faith and Dawson, one great-grandchild Ryleigh, two brothers, Bob Gotcher and wife Racheal of Edna, TX, Jim Gotcher and wife Jeannie of Scottsdale, AZ, a special sister Joyce Davis of Poteau, OK, as well as a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Colby Oliver, Caleb Oliver, Conner Oliver, Richard Stafford, Bert Burgess, Chad Davis and Dawson Watts.
Service will be held Wednesday, September 7, at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, Poteau, OK, with Pastor Leroy Billy officiating. Interment will follow service at Vaughn Cemetery, Gilmore, OK. You may offer condolence to the family Tuesday evening from 5 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
