Gloria Dean Hargrove
Gloria Dean Hargrove, 86, of Poteau, OK, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 in Poteau. She was born September 22, 1930 at Muskogee, OK, to Henry Eugene and Ellen Ann (Emerson) Chandler. She owned and operated Don and Reds Parts House in Poteau with her husband for many years. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Poteau.
Gloria was proceeded in death by her parents, husband James Hargrove, a daughter Sandra Turner, a brother DeWayne Chandler, two sisters Pansy Bishop and Norma Chandler.
Survivors include her two sons, Michael Hargrove and wife Kay of Poteau, and Jimmy Hargrove of Poteau, sisters Virginia Horn of Salem, IL. Rosemary Chandler of Poteau, Daisy Chandler of Poteau, Wanda Clay of Poteau, Joyce Piguet of Poteau and Cherry Dalmut of Poteau, three grandchildren, Kristen Morrison and husband Jess of Heavener, Chris Hargrove of Heavener, and Julie Hargrove of Poteau, four great grandchildren Caleb Morrison, Bryce Morrison, Haylee Morrison and Brentley Jones, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members, friends, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Chris Hargrove, Ronnie Burgess, Gene Chandler, Caleb Morrison, Jody Dalmut and Thomas Pate.
Service will be held Monday, March 13, at 2:00 pm at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel Poteau, OK. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, OK. Viewing will be Sunday, March 12, from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Grace Manor Funeral in charge of arrangements.
