Greta Jean (Goines) Osborne-Krantz
Greta Krantz, 75, of Shady Point, OK, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born, February 8, 1941, at Williams, OK, to Virgil Edward and Modessa (Pool) Goines. She owned and operated several restaurants over the years, played piano and sang gospel music.
Greta is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and father of her children James C. Osborne, twin sisters, Florina Leverett and Corina Stafford, one brother Virgil Edward Goines, Jr. and two great grandchildren.
Survivors include her current husband Bill Krantz of the home, two sons, Eddie and wife Tammy Osborne of Hesperia, CA and Michael Osborne of Heavener, OK, a daughter, Machell Williams and husband Galen of Wister, OK, a step-son Bruce and wife Kimberly Krantz of Panama, OK, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one on the way, a sister Nora Lavon and husband Ron Mullins of Shady Point, OK, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Osborne, Mike Osborne, Brandon Silva, Dustin Osborne, Zack Osborne, Mickey Leverett, Adam Goines, and Billy Stafford.
Services will be Wednesday, December 7, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau, OK, with Rev. Clyde Hess and Rev. Nick Hess officiating. Interment will follow service at Old Bokoshe Cemetery, Bokoshe, OK. Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau, OK.
