Helen (Akins) Adams
Helen Adams, 89, of Poteau, OK, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015, in her home. She was born December 24, 1925, at Talihina, OK, to Floyd and Lear (Burgess) Akins. She was a homemaker.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her beloved husband Fay Berry Adams; a son Floyd Stanley Adams; three sisters Hallie Pearce, Esther Pearce and Alta Medders.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald and wife Debbie Adams of Poteau, Mark and wife Patrice Adams of Jasper, IN, and Wayne and wife Kellie Adams of Spiro, OK; three daughters, Shirley and husband Rick Crouch of Poteau, OK, Paula and husband Larry Hall of Heavener, OK, and Lisa and husband Paul Weaver of Sachse, TX; grandchildren, Nathan Adams, Natalie Couch, Matt Crouch, Luke Crouch, Brandon Adams, Miranda Adams, Justin Hall, Josh Weaver, Ronnie Washburn, Zack Hall, Jeff Weaver and J.D. Adams; ten great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Adams, Matt Crouch, Luke Crouch, Brandon Adams, Justin Hall, Josh Weaver, Zack Hall, Jeff Weaver. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Hall, Paul Weaver, Johnnie Medders, Dale Pearce, Quinton Pearce and Don Shrum.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Hall Cemetery with Pastor Todd Webb officiating. Interment will follow service at the Hall Cemetery.
