Helen Collas Bethell, 91 passed away Tuesday August 14, 2018; She was born July 4, 1927 to Olivier Collas and Marie Pairault Collas in Cisse, France. She worked in France at the Departmental Archives in Grenoble and in La Rochelle, France. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine, taught French in the Sacramento School District and sold real estate with Century 21. She enjoyed gardening, painting and reading.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 58 years Arthur Benjamin Bethell, one brother Pierre Collas and his wife.
She leaves one brother, Gerrard Collas and his family from Joue-les-Tours, France, several nieces, nephews and grand nephews and nieces, relatives and friends in her native France and in the USA.
