Obituary for
Helene Dana Dumont
Dana Dumont, 77, of Howe, OK, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born September 11, 1939, in Casa Grande, AZ, to Clarence and Helen (Hatchett) Fitch. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Dana was a faithful member of Springhill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School to many young ladies, played piano and provided fresh flowers for her church family. She loved her church and was delighted to offer her time and talents in any way she could.
Preceding her in death were parents and one brother Larry Fitch.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 58 years, Walter Dumont of the home, a son Dustin Dumont of Atlanta, GA, two daughters, Melody Eddington and husband Joe of Tulsa, OK and Holly Shook and husband Warren of Atlanta, GA, two grandchildren, Roxanne Eddington and Zoey Shook, as well as a host of other family members and friends.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at Springhill Baptist Church, Howe, OK, with Pastor Don Laughlin officiating. Interment will be follow service at Springhill Cemetery.
