Hollis Owen Troxler, 67, of Panama, OK, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009, in Ft. Smith, AR. He was born March 29, 1942, in Caraway, AR, to Boyce Don and Dora Alice (Henderson) Troxler. He married Carolyn Moody on January 1, 1960 in Piru, CA. He was a Superintendent for Occidental Petroleum Company in the jungles of Peru and later in Yemen. After his retirement he enjoyed hunting and fishing, going to car shows and restoring hot rods.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn of the home; a son Hollis Troxler, Jr. and wife Roni, of Panama; a daughter Regina Hight and husband Larry, of Panama; a brother Don Troxler and wife Jan, of Oregon City, OR; two sister Vivian Troxler of Spiro, OK and Wyvonne Troxler and husband Walt, of Mena, AR; two grandchildren Dakota Troxler of Panama, Brandi Whiteaker and husband Brad of Panama; one great granddaughter Allison Whiteaker, as well as numerous other friends, family members and loved ones.
